IPL Auction | Day 2 | Players Brought | Season 4 | Part 2
Day 2 of IPL 4 Auctions was slow as most of the top cricket players are already bagged by the IPL teams. Today was the day of dark horses and less known international cricket player. Less known Australian cricket player were brought along with Sri Lankan cricket players and few of past international cricketer from India. Total 50 cricket players were brought on the second day of IPL auctions.
- Kolkata Knight Riders – Added 4 new players to their strong IPL team, they added L Balaji, Jaideve Unadkat, Ryan ten Doeschate and James Pattinson
- Pune Warriors - Added the most economical bowler of IPL season 3 Murli Kartik along with Wayne Parnell and Jerome Taylor.
- Mumbai Indians – Were playing as per plan and got the players which they really wanted to include for season 4 of IPL. Munaf Patel, Clint Mckay,Moses Henriques and Aided Blizzard were their buy for the day.
- Delhi Daredevils – One of the busiest team on day 2 of player’s auctions. Busy buying back-up fast bowlers for their team, they brought Umesh Yadav, Ashok Dinda and Ajit Agarkar. Burgain buys of Delhi Daredevils were Colin Ingram and Roelof Van Der Merwe.
- RCB – Busiest of IPL Team throughout the IPL auction day, brought Abhimanyu Mithun, Charl Langeveldt and Mohammad Kaif (Kaif gone under auction hammer thrice).
- Kochi IPL Team –.Added few more bowlers in their bowling heavy player list also brough Owais Shah and Michael Klinger.
- Kings XI Punjab – Kept quite for the day till last session of the 2 day auctions. They requested and picked up Dimitri Mascarenhas and Nathan Rimmington. They might concentrate on domestic players with huge leftover money of their team IPL.
- Deccan Chargers – Can be considered as sharpest of IPL team when its come to buy the utility players for their IPL franchise. Manpreet Gony and Joginder Sharma were their purchased on day 2.
- Rajastan Royals –.Put maximum efforts to retain Shaun Tait and also brought Pankaj Singh.
- Chennai Super Kings – Brought George Bailey,Scott Styris and Suraj Randiv to have good utility all round cricketer in their ranks.
