Firstly, why is Clarke a cheat? He bowled less than two overs and India's tail crumbled. What in his bowling, deserves ignorant slander?

Secondly, stop defending the term. So long as a noun is used in a derogatory manner referring to someone's race, then it is racist. I am not 100% sure as to the origin of the abuse against Symonds, but to me the Indian crowd was not using the term "monkey" in any light-hearted or friendly manner.

You refer to the fact that Clarke's nickname is Pup. The difference between Pup and Monkey is that the latter is used as a term of endearment.

Which is worse? Monkey, labeled against a human being along with thousands of jeers to his obvious disdain. Or Pup, labeled by his mates to which he responds favorably to.

This argument is moot and the outcry even more so.

Treat people with respect. If they do not like the term, then don't use it against them if you don't wish to cause offense. If you wish to cause offense, then you are disrespectful.

Hmm can't seem to think why people would think Indian supporters are racist after reading a quality post like that?

Face it stuff like that is just giving the rest of your supporters a bad name and only further spreading the myth that the Indian supporters are every bit if not more racist then any other countries supporters

for theatypical

Of course Clarke is a cheat, go back to the match highlights and see how he stand by when he nicked a ball to Dravid in slips of Kumble.

And then watch Yuvraj in the second inning when he didnt even wait for umpire to give dicision.

Do you have any other term to treat Clarke?

Call him by his name.

If you're talking about batsmen lingering at the crease, then wasn't it Yuvraj who was sighted for dissent himself?

Come on.... You must be watching the highlights with Backnors eyes....

I am talking about the second inning of 2nd test...

In Melbourne Yuvraj was not out and decision can to him as a shock.....

Pleoples do take time to come out of shock...
