Pakistan ride high on Umar Gul (25 runs 4 wkts) and Shahid Afridi's (19 runs 4 wkts) performances. After not batting as per their reputations, Pakistan only managed to get 171, with the help of Younis Khan (41) who played a slow inning as per Twenty Twenty standards.

But in the end all bowlers seen bowl go to boundary with good hitting by Shahid Afridi and Misbah-ul-Haq. Shahid Afridi's performance with bat and bowl earn him man of the match award and Pakistan beat Scotland by 51 runs.
